The last many years I have travelled 2 to 5 times a year. Mostly to my daughter in Holland and to Prague. My school has had pupils exchange (one week here - one week there) with a school in Prague for 12 years, and I have been one of the teachers from the beginning participating.

And then I'm often going to Prague for listening to concerts, operas and ballets, because it's cheap. Prague has very fine music festivals both in May and in September.

During my life I have visited most of the contries in the western Europe and the baltic contries. I have also been in St. Petersburg in Russia and Cyprus and Israel, and I have many years ago been in Tunesia and Jerusalem.

With colleagues I have been on school confrerence in Gaziantep in Turkey and visited Istanbul.

I have never used couchsurfing myself, because I'm not looking for a couch for the night but a room, where I can come and go during a week and use as my base.
